The stove worked great until 6 months after the warranty ran out and then the temperature in the oven would go to 550
no matter where the dial was set. No one in our area will service this stove, including Sears who sells them on there web sight.
Many repair centers had never even heard of the brand.
Contacted Avanti service and they were very unsympathetic. The only place that will service it is 75 miles away and I have to bring it to them.
It's not like we live in the middle of nowhere, we are only 10 min from Hartford Ct.
This is totally unacceptable and I will never buy another one of there products.

Avanti has the worst cust service. They have an F rating with the BBB. The control panel temp gauge markings come off as if oil would hit mascara and when you go to wipe it down it smears. It's happened to me twice. If you install this in a rental, the warranty is only for 90 days. If I could give Avanti products and their company a -100 stars, I would. Megan and John are the worst managers ever...there is no point in asking to talk to customer service. Avanti is owned by The Mackle Co...they don't care. The stainless steel on the top of the stove does not clean properly. Should you burn milk...you can't get it clean.
